Al-Tech refers to Al-Tech and its partners, including all services and products of its subsidiaries such as MainMoney, MainID, MainSecure, and others. By using the Services, you consent to Al-Tech and its partners (including all of its subsidiary services and products) collecting, storing, and using your biometric data in accordance with the terms of the DRC Biometric Data Policy.AL-Tech means Al-Tech and Partners, including all its subsidiary services and partners, including all its subsidiary services and partners, including all its subsidiary services and partners, including all its subsidiaries services and partners, including all its subsidiary services and products such as MainMoney, MainID, MainSecure and Others.by using the Services, you consent to Al-Tech and Partners (including all Its subsidiaries (services and products)'s collection, storage, and use of your Biometric Data in accordance with the terms of the Biometric Data Policy in the DRC.
Biometric data is identifying information related to your biometric or physical characteristics that can be used to identify you. Common forms of biometric data that you can use in your daily life include fingerprints, voice prints, veins in your palm, facial recognition, and iris or retina recognition. Al-Tech refers to “biometric data”, we refer to certain physical information that we collect about you (such as the print of your palm or the pattern of the internal veins in your hand) in order to identify you individually and to provide you with our resources and services through our websites, applications, devices, and APIs (the “Services”).
How does Al-Tech collect your biometric data? When you create an Al-Tech account, you will provide some biometric data at an Al-Tech kiosk. Al-Tech collects this biometric data, then encrypts it and stores it on Al-Tech's data servers, which Al-Tech will use to identify you when you want to use the Services. Al-Tech does not collect, enter, receive, or otherwise obtain your biometric data without your consent or without the consent of your legally authorized representative.
You can refuse to provide your biometrics. However, if you refuse to provide biometric data, some services that require the use of such data will not be available to you. You may also experience a loss of functionality of some or all of the Services we provide.

Al-Tech can use your biometric data to improve its accuracy, services, and products. This includes developing technologies and algorithms that work with images, videos, and depth data. These technologies involve things like machine learning, algorithms, and other tools for areas such as focus, color, contrast, classification, recognition, image processing, and immersive multimedia. By using Al-Tech's services, you agree that Al-Tech uses your biometric data for these purposes. You consent to such use of your biometric data, but Al-Tech does not sell, rent, or trade your biometric data to third parties and does not make any profit from doing so.
Al-Tech does not sell, rent, or exchange your biometric data to third parties and does not make any profit in this way. Al-Tech may work with certain third parties to provide you with the Services, but only to the extent necessary to provide you with these Services. Al-Tech has entered into agreements with third parties who will receive your biometric data when these third parties have a legitimate need to provide you with the Services. These third parties are required to keep your biometric data secret and secure. We do not disclose, re-disclose, or otherwise disseminate your biometric data without your request or consent or without the request or consent of your legally authorized representative. However, in some specific cases, we may be required to disclose your biometric data in cases where such disclosure or redisclosure is required by appropriate authorities, or by a municipal ordinance, or when required under a valid warrant or subpoena issued by a competent court.
In order to provide you with the Services, Al-Tech stores and uses your biometric data as long as you have an active account with Al-Tech. Your account is considered “active” as long as no more than five years have passed since you were last accessed (unless you explicitly request early closure of your account by following our account closure procedure). Sometimes your biometric data may not be readable or recognized when you scan your palm on an Al-Tech device. The scanning attempt will be immediately cancelled on these occasions and you will have to scan your palm again.
You can ask us to delete your biometric data by informing us at support@Al-Tech.co. We reserve the right to keep certain limited biometric personal data that you provide for a period of up to five (5) years in order to maintain records that are legally required for your various consents and authorizations.
After you close your account (or automatically close your account when it is considered inactive), Al-Tech will keep your biometric data for a reasonable period of up to one year, including for fraud prevention purposes. Al-Tech will permanently destroy your biometric data no later than the first anniversary of the date you cancel your account (or the first anniversary following the date you last used your Al-Tech account). Once your account is closed, you will need to re-register and provide your biometric data to Al-Tech again before you can use the Services.
If you agree to the terms of this biometric policy, you agree that DRC law, including the”ORDINANCE-LAW NO. 23/010 OF 13 MARCH 2023 ON THE DIGITAL CODE” checks with respect to any requirement for your consent in the form of a valid electronic signature. You agree, understand, and consent by checking the consent box in the Biometric Policy that your electronic signature is the legal equivalent of your manual/handwritten signature. You also consent to the use of your electronic signature.
