What is MainMoney payment technology?

MainMoney is a palm vein payment platform that uses biometric technology with a unique pattern of veins in your palm to authenticate transactions. It allows you to make payments by simply swiping your palm over a scanner.

Could you put a chip in my hand?

No, the MainMoney payment system does not involve implanting or inserting chips into your hand. The technology works by scanning the unique biometric patterns from the inside of the palm of your hand using near infrared light, just like the oximeter you use in hospitals.

How does the MainMoney payment system work?

The system uses infrared light to scan veins on the inside of your palm. The venous pattern is unique to everyone, which makes it highly secure. Once your palm is scanned, the system combines it with stored data to authenticate the payment.

Why is MainMoney being introduced in the DRC?

The system is in place to improve financial inclusion, reduce fraud, and streamline payment processes. Given the challenges of traditional banking services and the need to secure transactions, MainMoney's technology offers a reliable and convenient solution.

How do I sign up to use MainMoney?

To register, go to a participating service center with a valid ID. Your palm will be scanned and linked to your bank account or mobile wallet. Once you sign up, you can start making payments using your palm.

What do you do with my data?

Your data is stored in our database in Africa. We use it to allow you to make your payment in a smooth and simple way. You are always in control of your data. You can request account activity and view scan history on our website or delete your account by sending an email support@al-tech.co. Al-tech does not and will never sell your information to third parties.

Can someone steal my palmar vein data?

Palm vein data is highly secure and stored in encrypted form. Also, because the venous pattern is internal, it is nearly impossible for someone to replicate it for fraudulent purposes.
